Blackjack (also called Twenty-One) is the world's most popular casino card game. The goal is simple: get your hand value closer to 21 than the dealer without going over.
Card Values:
• Numbered cards (2-10) = Face value
• Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) = 10 points each
• Aces = 1 or 11 points (whichever is better for your hand)
Basic Rules:
• You and the dealer each get 2 cards to start
• Your cards are face-up, dealer has one card face-down
• You can "hit" (take another card) or "stand" (keep your total)
• If you go over 21, you "bust" and lose immediately
• Dealer must hit on 16 or less, stand on 17 or more
Winning:
• Beat the dealer's total without busting
• Dealer busts and you don't
• Get "Blackjack" (21 with first 2 cards) - pays 3:2!
