The most important rule in PLO: you must use exactly 2 of your hole cards and exactly 3 community cards to make your best hand.
Invalid PLO Hands (Common Mistakes):
- • Using only 1 hole card with 4 community cards
- • Using 3 hole cards with 2 community cards
- • Playing the community cards as your hand ("playing the board")
- • Using all 4 hole cards
