Straights work differently in Short Deck due to the missing low cards:
Valid Straights:
• A-6-7-8-9 (Ace-low "wheel")
• 6-7-8-9-T
• 7-8-9-T-J
• 8-9-T-J-Q
• 9-T-J-Q-K
• T-J-Q-K-A (Ace-high)
Important Notes:
• A-6-7-8-9 is the lowest straight (9-high)
• Ace can only be high (T-J-Q-K-A) or low (A-6-7-8-9)
• No "around the corner" straights (K-A-6-7-8)
• Straights are easier to make with consecutive ranks
